I am excited to offer two winter workshops for professionals working with children. I have a great space in the beautiful newly renovated rear building at Edge of the Woods Grocery Store in New Haven, CT.

The winter is a great time to take a break, relax, refresh, learn something new, and even have some fun. During my many years of working with children as a teacher and a counselor, understanding my own system of supports and challenges, significantly increased my ability to catalyze the staff and students’ creativity and learning. In the first one day workshop, Friday, January 11, 2019, we will explore creative techniques and activities that will allow you to support yourself and also the children that surround you.

The second workshop will be 2 days, Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2, 2019, and will focus on how to utilize up to 25 tools and activities that use a systemic lens to support healing, creativity and learning in children. Examples of long-term benefits for children could be increased feelings of belonging and inclusion in the classroom and/or counseling settings. Participants in the workshop will practice and collaborate to meet the needs of their individual work with children.
